Here we are in Greenwich Village at Cafe Wha? where Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and a long list of others - can you read the Who's Who? list - either got their start or performed here.
Times Square is full of lights and characters - Gil & Jorge were admiring this lady (?).
Chinatown was a favourite district of mine. Their markets are unlike any at home. In the heart of Chinatown, Columbus Park was full of tables of men playing some type of checkers game, and tables of women playing cards; while others strummed unique musical instruments.
Little Italy borders Chinatown; so we literally walked out of one and into the other. Two completely different neighbourhoods around the block from each other.
Ground Zero and the new World Trade Center One.
Central Park is huge, and offers some calm in the heart of Manhattan.
The subway system is excellent for getting around in NYC.
I couldn't stop looking "up"...
Everyone wanted their picture with the Wall St. Bull ... I had to act fast to capture him here.
We had dinner out at an Argentine restaurant in the theatre district for Jorge's birthday - GREAT food.
