Don't we look homeless!? Here we are on the first bridge built over the Hudson River - or more accurately, the site of the first bridge built over the Hudson - the original bridge was wooden and burnt down, and this one replaced it. Today was "grocery day."  I love towns who cater to boater's needs; and Hannaford's Grocery allows you to take your carts to the dock. Good day to buy the heavy stuff (liquids like beer and water).

We've had a couple of lazier days where we've just stayed put. We've been "intelligence gathering" from all the other more experienced boaters - getting tips on downloadable apps for tides and currents,  info on harbours, charts, marine weather info etc.   All this before we enter tidal waters! Rob and Serena on VITA are with us again, and have given us a lesson on how to tie up to mooring balls. We're likely to be trying this out tomorrow, so I'll let you know how we'll rate them as teachers :-)
