My image of Americans has been completely shattered. We have met so many people who have gone above and beyond to welcome us or help us. Today was no exception. We are in Canajoharie, a small town of 2500. They offer free overnight dockage (we seek these out). Their Dock Master, Dave and his son Nick, were waiting to catch our lines when we arrived. They spoke to us about their town; drove Kim & I out to their PriceChoppers, waited for us while we shopped, drove us back to our boats, and then helped us carry our groceries in. Nick even disposed of our recyclables for us. Meanwhile, Gil & Jorge were chatting with some locals who had been fishing; and then later in the evening they brought us some bass and walleye!! I love America J
