Grande Anse Beach
Grande Anse Beach is amongst the Caribbean's best beaches, and the kids had it on their bucket list for Grenada. After yesterday's hiking, it was the perfect destination for a down day. Again, we hopped aboard a city bus. Normally, it would have taken two city buses (each at 2.5 EC dollars) to get to Grande Anse Beach from where we hopped on. It was our lucky day, as the bus driver offered to take us directly to the beach! I suppose the driver thought it lucky too that there were seven of us, and taking us directly rewarded him with 7 double fares. A Win-Win for all of us... it was a quick trip there.
We enjoyed lunch at Umbrella's beach restaurant, though the wait was long - it's very popular.
We didn't do much of anything - read, played yahtzee, and worked on tanning.
