Shop 'til you drop

For four consecutive days we've done the same thing.... enjoyed a couple of cups of morning coffee, had breakfast, took the 10 minute cruise to the $10 dinghy dock, walked 2'ish miles to the boating stores (West Marine's largest US store, Sailorman, and Boat Owner's Warehouse are all a stone's throw from each other), shopped, walked the 2'ish miles back to the dinghy dock, ate lunch at the Raw Bar (where the $10 dinghy fee gets deducted from your tab - they own the dinghy docks), then crossed the street to the grocery store to load up on provisions for the Bahamas, load the dinghy, drive back home, unload the dinghy and stowed our goodies away, and sat to rest our weary feet and bodies.

We can't believe we've done this for four straight days, with plans to do it again tomorrow! What are we buying? LED lights, fins for the dinghy motor, ditch bag, electronic charts, guide books, courtesy flags, anchor weight, rubber to dampen the noise of the windmill, other boat stuff; ...wine, mix, TP, paper towels, toiletries, cereals, coffee, other food stuff...   It seems ridiculous the time it's taking.

We got some great news today.  Jorge & Kim are determined to get here tomorrow! Just in time for Fort Lauderdale's Lighted Boat Parade. Hopefully, we'll be watching it together tomorrow. Hopefully, they'll fit in this anchorage, which is getting very 'tight' with boats (I hope some will leave, but with the lighted boat parade happening, that may be wishful thinking).
