Today, we watched the sun come up while out in the Atlantic Ocean! Believe it or not, we pulled our anchor up at 5am when the world was still quite dark. We had chosen to tag team it again with Jorge & Kim. When leaving Beaufort's inlet, a very large motor boat (a mega yacht compared to Serenada & CS'ta Time) pulled up from behind us. Its' captain hailed us on our VHF radios, and offered to lead us out of the inlet as they had night vision (technology lacking on our smaller vessels). Was that appreciated! That spared us having to identify which flashing buoy was which, and which were other boats, and which belonged to the city, etc. Sooo much easier, especially when we hadn't yet had that second cup.
CS'ta Time in the early morning on the Atlantic
Frank, Gil couldn't wait to get his fishing line out in the big water.
We both motor-sailed and motored about 12hr. to get from Beaufort's inlet to the Masonboro inlet. Fortunately, the seas were relatively calm, and the wind was predominantly on the beam, so our passage was comfortable. We spotted our first dolphins (no pictures), and plenty of big jellyfish.
Wrightsville, just inside the Masonboro inlet, is a good size town, so tomorrow I'll find a grocery store.

We celebrated our second successful Atlantic passage aboard CS'ta Time, along with Michel & Caroline (Water Music) who had also completed the same passage.
Good night my friends. I'm pooched.
