The Last Sail of the Season

From Martinique, we sailed south ....

.... stopping along the way at Bequia and Mayreau Islands within the Grenadines.

Tony Gibbons beach on Bequia

I got in a snorkel fix while in Bequia; the queen angel fish was the prize sighting of the day.

Gil got in a few boat jobs at Mayreau. This was one day when I was happy to be the chief cook and bottle washer...

on top of the world

No, thanks

Thanks for helping out, Peter

We had ring side seats for some practice racing

Ashore, Gil made some new friends

At sunrise one day we left The Grenadines for our last sail of the season to Grenada.

bye Grenadines :(

it's difficult to capture the height of the waves, when you float on top of them!

our first barely there glimpse of Grenada, behind those rocks

crazy fishermen, miles off shore!

We sailed down the windward (east) side of Grenada, as our final destination was Grenada Marine; closer to the east shore than the west shore.

It felt sad to have our last sail of the season. We have had such a wonderful adventure aboard Serenada for almost 2 years.
