serenity of Smith Creek
Sailing north from Reedville, we stopped for a night in Smith Creek, just off the Potomac River.
Just as in Willoughby Bay, Norfolk while we were here in Smith Creek, we woke to the 'Star Spangled Banner' and practice helicopter drills/maneuvers until after dark. The presence of the (US) military/airforce/navy is highly seen and felt by ourselves - it is a stark contrast to the absence of the same at home in Canada!
