'Not Much of Anything' Week

It's been a quiet week at anchor since our last blog post, so I thought I'd share the views from our boat :)

our friends Nightwatch (left) and Serenade (right)
(for both, their boats are their permanent homes)

the view behind us - see the white goat bottom right?

We had a gathering to bid Guilloume & Gwen off - they'll be visiting home in August. Ralph & Mary hosted on Nightwatch.

sorry, Joe .... this was the only photo of Gil
(it's a complement to my chili dip though)

Boat jobs never end. This week, our dinghy's outboard quit on us. With the help of our cruising friends, we were able to bring it in for servicing to a local marina. Below, Ralph is helping Gil to tow our dinghy to shore, where the repaired outboard will be put back on its' transom.

From time to time, we have to clean the boat's bottom. If we don't, it gets to look like this....

peach fuzz on Serenada's bottom
(time to scrape her clean again)

On one of our outings, we came across this unique BBQ - looks like a smoker combo?

We watched all of season 4 of Game of Thrones this week. Loved it. We couldn't wait and savour it... we just gobbled it up.

  1. Sounds like you're not bored yet! Glad your having the time of your lives. Have company coming most of August - hope it warms up enough to go swimming, been too cool but then sleeping has been great.
    Love your blog Georgie
