Waccamaw River to Georgetown, SC

We left our anchorage in the Waccamaw River at 10am; so we enjoyed the early morning there. It's a very scenic river, lined with cypress trees, many with hanging spanish moss. It had an almost eerie feel to it, but it was beautiful.

there was much of this floating plant...always knew the current's flow!

We had NO bridges today, and the current favoured us at least half the day, so we made decent time; arriving in Georgetown just before 3pm. It was a pleasant surprise to see Oceanus pull in shortly after us. We had met Roger & Christine earlier in Elizabeth City. Happy Hour with the six of us was on our boat; following which Jorge & Kim had us over to their boat for dinner. Another perfect day. Love this life.
