After a full week in Charleston, we are finally on the move again. We didn't think we'd stay that long in Charleston, but it grew on us, and sometimes it just feels right to stop and linger (and rest up too). Serenada's in good form - full of fuel, water, food, beverages :) and everything inside her's clean; so we're good to go for a while before we'll need to stop. The local temperature hit 32F - freezing - with the cold front that came in with great gusto last night. Strongest winds we've seen yet. We put out two anchors for the first time last night. So.... southward we shall go again, and we're motivated to get to warmer climes.
side porch with door, so typical of Charleston

this sign reminds me of Nadrine :)
looks like an ice fishing hut on pontoons
'should have put out that 2nd anchor!
3/4 moon over Tom Point Creek
We've stopped at Tom Point Creek, off the Wadmalaw River for the night - marshland all around us.
