Cumberland Island, Georgia

Cumberland Island, is Georgia’s largest and southernmost barrier island; and is protected National Seashore, ensuring the island will remain in its’ natural state. It has no roads or land access; being accessible only by boat or water taxi. We love pristine places like this.

We must have brought the northerlies in with us, though, as it cooled down quickly after our arrival. I had thought I’d be back into summer clothes, but No, I’ll have to wait a little longer for that. Regardless, we ventured out to explore the island…
