"Since we knew we wouldn't be able to be with you on your big day, we wanted to do something special to let you know that we love you and that we're thinking of you.
But what could we do? We can't send you flowers or a card via snail mail... we knew it would have to be something digital...
So, Ta-Da!
We've recreated a couple of old photos from the past for your enjoyment :)
We hope that you get a few birthday giggles (along with those tears that just might leak out despite your attempts to suppress them)!
We love you soooo much Mom! Have a wonderful birthday!"

Too funny, and very creative. It made me laugh and cry. I love you guys too!! That's how my special day started, and it ended with dinner at Portofino's with Jorge & Kim.
In between, we went into Georgetown and visited the Rice Museum which also had on exhibit the oldest known manufactured (sail)boat in the US.
"The Limo" at the dinghy dock ... I refer to ours as "The family car"
" Do not feed alligators..."
Yikes, between them and the jellyfish, I'm not swimming!

Oh my gosh. Is that so clever. What could be better!
ReplyDeletethose pictures from the kids made me cry too! You have wonderful children. Wish we could have all celebrated together. But, we were surely thinking of each other :-)
